New Course Sponsorships for Families in Basel

Thanks to a new collaboration between the Christof-Merian-Stiftung and TechLabs Giving, we are please to offer 10 sponsorships to families in need. Starting January 2026, this pilot program will support 10 families living in the municipalities of the City of Basel with funding of up to 90% of course fees (maximum CHF 1,000 per family per year) for participation in a weekly afterschool course.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please review the eligibility criteria and registration process below.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Reside in the municipalities of the City of Basel (excluding Riehen and Bettingen)

  • Have a financial need - verified by providing us a copy of a valid KulturLegi or FamilianPassPlus card

  • Limited to the first 10 families that qualify

How to Register:

  • Browse available afterschool courses in Basel at www.techlabs.ch/classes and register for your chosen course using the online form.

    • The registration form must include your address

  • Email TechLabs at info@techlabs.ch with:

  • Once verified, we will adjust your invoice to reflect your start date and apply the 90% sponsorship discount (up to CHF 1,000 per family per year).
